Terms and Privacy Policy from Panamail, S.A. (PANAMAIL)

At the time of registration for the service, the Customer expressly acknowledges having consulted, understood and accepted all the information and that the use of the service is equivalent to accepting these terms of service:

  1. All customer information is 100% private and confidential. No information will be accessible to third parties.

    b) By using the website panamail.com or panamail.com.pa it is considered that the customer consents to the collection of data by PANAMAIL, which are used exclusively for the purpose of fulfilling the order made by the customer.
     

  2. Virtual Office plans and all individual products are charged in a term of one year (12 months).
     

  3. A VAT tax charge (ITBMS) of 7% is applied to all service plans.
     

  4. PANAMAIL will contact and notify clients one month prior to the renewal date. Thirty days after the expiry date, incoming mail will be rejected and voicemail numbers will be cancelled.
     

  5. Mail forwarding services are limited to business correspondence (letters, small parcels). We do not provide freight forwarding and do not sign for large parcels. Special arrangements can be made for larger or unusual parcels, however PANAMAIL must be consulted in advance.
     

  6. The client is responsible for any postage charges and handling fees, which have to be paid in advance.

    b) PANAMAIL does not have to forward any mail if the client's account does not have enough credit.
     

  7. PANAMAIL operates directly with the National Mail of Panama, always seeking solutions to accelerate the process of receiving mail for its customers. However, occasional delays may occur in the delivery of general mail (not courier). PANAMAIL is not responsible for the time elapsed before receiving the mail or for any lost item sent by general mail.
     

  8. Panama's DID telephone numbers may experience rare connectivity problems with some international operators. This never affects the functionality of the number within Panama or any call forwarding services.
     

  9. Shared voicemail: Messages can only be forwarded if the caller follows the instructions correctly. The name of the account holder or company must be provided.
     

  10. Shared Fax Number: Faxes should be directed to the account holder or company name to ensure correct forwarding.
     

  11. PANAMAIL is not responsible for the content of its customers' mail, nor for the activities of their businesses. In case of fraudulent use of the postal address or any violation of national or international laws, the customer's account may be terminated at any time.

    b) Clients operating in the financial and investment area are explicitly advised to apply for a license at the SMV (Superintendencia del Mercado de Valores). Otherwise PANAMAIL may suspend the service immediately.
     

  12. In the event of dissatisfaction with the service, the service may be cancelled and a refund may be requested within the first 30 days of the contract. A 20% management fee will be applied.

    b) Refunds may not be requested for company incorporations orders, unless this is done prior to the registration of the company.
